Our Home Suite Triangle Story

Hi there! We are Surbhi & Ian, a married couple who moved to Raleigh on a whim in 2021 during the height of the pandemic. The house we bought was a new build in our dream location, so we just had to jump on the opportunity! 3 years later, we love being Raleighites and have never looked back.

When we first arrived in the Triangle, we lived in a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom serviced apartment in Cary for 8 months. It was one of the most fun phases of our lives and it inspired this business. With our have natural passions for hosting others and fostering communities, we want to give others an even better experience than we settling into the area. Our goal is to provide you, our guest, with a supportive structure as you create your own home in the Triangle for however long as you wish. We believe we are the perfect couple to share our love for this area with you and ensure your comfort.

Our unique touch

Meet Surbhi

  • I'm a career HR professional with an expertise in experience design. I listen to clients to learn what they actually need and use my skills to to create positive client experiences.

  • I'm a career transplant and have lived in short term rentals domestically and internationally many times in my adult life. I know what matters when you're in a new environment by yourself with little to no local support.

  • I'm a dog mom and a toddler mom so life is full of chaotic fun, and I understand the needs of parents who have littles running around.

  • My standards for hosting are high! I aim to exceed your expectations, not just meet them.

Meet Ian

  • I have a background in Communications and Community Relations which have enabled me to build a network of mutual support with local small businesses, charities and more.

  • I'm a lifelong avid learner. I love learning new facts, particularly about places that I live and visit so I have gotten to know the area well.

  • I'm always keeping up with events in the Triangle to make plans for visiting family and friends, date nights, and lots of toddler and dog-friendly fun.

  • Moving to the Triangle has been great for both my family and myself personally, but moving always comes with challenges. I will always tell it like it is and share my experience to help you get settled.

Our Community

As part of fostering a strong community, we source as much as we can from local small businesses and artists. So, the furniture you sit and sleep on is all locally sourced and the art on your walls is by local artists (some of it may even be for sale!). Additionally, our brochures for local restaurants, entertainment, shops, and other activities are all curated to showcase local establishments that have personally been to and loved, and we would love to share them with you!

We donate a portion of our post-tax profits to Carolina Cares, a nonprofit organization that we have worked with since early 2024 (before we established our business) dedicated to improving the lives of all people with food insecurity living in Wake County and the surrounding communities.
